What is dermalinfusion?
“Do you guys do hydra facials?” I furrowed my brow inquisitively as I spoke to the spa receptionist on the other end of the call. “No – we’ve replaced it with something similar, but way more effective – “dermalinfusion”. I grimaced thinking it didn’t sound anything like a hydra facial and actually sounded painful. “It’s extremely relaxing and non-invasive. It’s a medical-grade treatment that suctions dead skin/impurities out of your skin. A diamond tip exfoliates and infuses minerals/serums into the skin to make it look plump with less lines and wrinkles. It treats oily or acne-prone skin and reduces the appearance of hyper-pigmentation.” After picking my jaw up from the floor, I booked the facial.

What does the dermalinfusion procedure entail?
When I stepped into my spa room, it was like stepping into a tranquil oasis. I immediately smelled the calming essential oils in the air. First, my facialist cleansed the skin. Next, she treated it with the diamond tip suction by exfoliating and infusing serums into the skin. Lastly, she performed extractions and treated my skin with a custom mask. The facial was so calming and relaxing, I fell asleep!
My dermalinfusion results:
My skin glowed at the conclusion of the facial. As the results promised, my skin was 70% more volumized following the procedure. However, I experienced the benefits of the facial for about two weeks, long after the 72 hours advertised. I previously had two small tired lines under my eyes that COMPLETELY disappeared. Thankfully, I don’t suffer from hyperpigmentation, so that wasn’t an issue. To see how I keep dark marks at bay, read my article on how Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution worked for my skin. Most importantly, I was in awe of how smooth and plump my skin was because of the dermalinfusion tools and serums.
My final thoughts on dermalinfusion
I can’t wait to get another dermalinfusion facial, especially at Trifecta Med Spa in NYC. (Note that Trifecta Med Spa uses the term “Diamond Glow” for their dermalinfusion treatment). **I’ll add a quick disclaimer that this post is not sponsored.** My facialist was professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. This is my new favorite facial. Finally, a huge thank you shoutout goes to mom for gifting it for my birthday. It was an incredible experience I’ll never forget!
