5 Tips to Protect Your Peace

Don’t forget to protect your peace this week, friends! God doesn’t want us stressed and pressed by our circumstances. 1 Peter 5:7 says to “Cast our cares on Him because He cares for you.” Here are 5 quick tips:

  1. Give yourself permission to say “no”! Do you just not have the energy required for something? Say no. Is something going to make you unhappy? It’s okay to say “no grazie”!
  2. Be conscious of your thoughts. 85% of the things we worry about never even happen.
  3. Set boundaries. You’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with. (Co-workers) Take space to recharge if you need it.
  4. Breaking news stressing you? It’s okay to shut it off for the rest of the day.
  5. Don’t be thirsty! Drink your water + stay hydrated. Eat well + get enough sleep.
